About Imagine Monkland

Imagine Monkland is a multidisciplinary festival presented by Arts Week, gathering local merchants, local artists, and the neighbourhood with an otherworldly experience of visual arts. The driving force behind Imagine Monkland resides in the participation of the residents that will build little and giant creatures, that will take centre stage during the festival, under the mentoring of professional artists.

Why Monsters? Monsters and creatures form the bedrock of our society. They are a fun way to explore our alter-ego and a theme that resonates with all cultures by presenting mythical creatures derived from popular folktales.
